Renée Farkas
Director, Student Programs
Phone: (607) 255-1107
Email: rcf1@cornell.edu

Renée began her career at Cornell with the CIVITAS program, whose work laid the foundation for the creation of the Public Service Center in 1991. Now serving as a Director of Student Programs in the Einhorn Center, she is a member of the senior management team with operational management responsibilities. In addition to her duties, Renée co-leads the Pre-Orientation Service Trip (POST) program and has a long-history related to the work of the Community Work-Study Program. She has served on many initiatives and committees both on campus and off, such as the Orientation committee, Cornell Days, Reunion, First-Year Family Weekend and many others. She also serves as a member of the Review Committee for the Human Services Coalition of Tompkins County.

Renée says

“The best part of this job has always been my interaction with students, many whom I have met since they stepped onto campus as new students who then become alumni!”
